Responsibilities Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment such as mowers, chainsaws, power tools, and irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, fertilizing, and watering to uphold aesthetic standards. Conduct groundskeeping duties to prepare surfaces for events, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Handle manual tasks involving heavy lifting, manual handling of materials, and use of hand tools for various landscaping projects. Apply pesticides and herbicides following safety protocols to control pests and weeds effectively. Maintain equipment through routine inspections, cleaning, repairs, and preventive maintenance to maximize lifespan and performance. Requirements Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, chainsaws, and grounds maintenance equipment operation. Knowledge of pesticide management practices and safety procedures related to chemical application. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely and efficiently. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles and grounds maintenance equipment. Strong understanding of lawn care techniques, gardening practices, and overall landscaping principles. Commitment to safety standards including power tool safety protocols and equipment maintenance procedures.
