Job Description
Job Overview Outside maintenance person is responsible for keeping the outside grounds to park standards. This person must be fit enough to work grounds and provide general outside maintenance for minor repairs, grounds keeping, and customer service. Should possess high grounds keeping skills, basic electric and plumbing knowledge-must feel confident doing minor troubleshooting and repairs.
Essential Job Functions:
Knowledge of Plumbing-Repair water lines, valves, etc. Knowledge of Electrical Repair- Ability to troubleshoot basic issues Maintain Vehicles Weed Spraying, Weeding, Mowing, Cutting Brush Operating and Maintaining power equipment and tools Clean Restroom/Laundry Building Let Manager know when plumbing or electrical issues require paid assistance Maintain Gas Supply (fuel for vehicles/generators/small equipment) Let Manager know when low on cleaning supplies/shop needs Keep washers and dryers clean•Collect quarters from machines Clean Exit side of Dryer lint traps Full-Time tenant electric meter readings Pond level readings Grinder pump readings Spray out Grinder pit weekly Clean filters at sewer pit and grinder pit Clean Rec Hall as needed Keep grounds clean and free of debris and trash Irrigate from sewer pond (May thru Oct) Record flow meter reading Daily check sewer pond pumps Maintain sewer sprayers (year around as needed) Backup office/gate responsibilities when needed Inspect sites for safety hazards and repair issues Repair/replace picnic tables, fences, signs and park property Replace interior/exterior lighting, bulbs and light fixtures Winterize and de-winterize water systems and facilities Perform preventative maintenance on pumps and irrigation equipment.

- Ascends, descends ladders, stairs, ramps, poles, towers, etc. Uses feet, legs, hands, arms to climb. Requires body agility, strength. Critical if required for unique situations. Grasping
- Can apply pressure to an object with fingers and palm Feeling
- Touching with skin/fingertips, perceiving temperature, texture, object attributes like size, shape, weight Standing
- Particularly important for sustained periods of time Walking
