Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Laborer and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor environments. This paid position offers an energetic and hands-on opportunity to work outdoors, utilizing your skills in landscaping, grounds maintenance, and equipment operation. You'll contribute to the health and aesthetics of various landscapes by performing a variety of tasks that keep outdoor spaces vibrant, safe, and well-kept. If you're passionate about outdoor work and eager to develop your skills in horticulture and landscape maintenance, this is the perfect role for you! Duties Assist with landscape installation, planting, pruning, and tree trimming to enhance outdoor aesthetics Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as mowers, trimmers, power tools, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently Perform routine landscape maintenance including mowing, edging, weeding, fertilizing, Follow safety protocols diligently during all outdoor activities and equipment use to maintain a safe work environment Support pesticide management practices when necessary to protect plants while adhering to safety guidelines Maintain cleanliness of work sites by removing debris, trash, and excess materials regularly Skills Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintaining landscaping tools and equipment Experience with landscape maintenance techniques including lawn care, gardening, irrigation system installation and repair Proficiency with hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and power tools for various landscaping tasks Ability to identify different plant species and recognize common pests or plant issues Knowledge of pesticide management procedures following safety regulations Outdoor work experience demonstrating stamina and adaptability across different weather conditions Strong understanding of grounds maintenance practices including tree trimming, groundskeeping equipment operation, and general landscaping procedures This role offers an exciting opportunity to grow your expertise in horticulture while contributing to the beauty of outdoor spaces. Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
