Moon Clinton Rd., Moon Township, PA, 15108. 412-329-7091. 3 Snow Removers/Landscape Laborers needed for temporary, full-time employment from 12/14/26 to 4/10/27. Work will be performed at multiple worksites in Allegheny, Beaver, Butler and Washington Counties, PA. Perform property maintenance including winter storm and fall cleanup, trash/debris pickup, and snow/ice removal. Use hand or power tools and equipment such as ice picks, shovels, pruners, saws and blowers. As required, use hands to spread salt on walkways and other areas, drive pickup truck or loader with mounted snowplow and/or salt spreading attachments or use hands and shovel to clear snow/ice from sidewalks, driveways, and parking lots. Use shovel for installation of new winter foliage, wintergreen plants and trees, works on the ground using pruners, shears or chainsaws for trimming trees and bushes for winter pruning, uses rake/shovel for fall and winter leaf and debris removal, using hands, shovel, rake for mulch installation for winterizing plants and trees to protect from freezes, drainage control, and winterization and draining of sprinkler systems. Use hand tools to perform routine maintenance and/or minor repairs on equipment. No minimum education required, or experience required. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must be able to work a 5-day schedule, including weekends and holidays as required. Must have a class C driver's license or be willing and able to obtain upon employment. Possession of a driver's license requires must be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand traffic signs and signals in English. Applicant must complete an employment application. Required uniform provided at no cost to employee. The employer will offer 35 hours of work per week. Normal schedule Monday-Friday 8:00am-3:30pm. Shift includes a 30-minute unpaid break. Work on Saturdays and Sundays may be required depending on weather conditions and needs of the business.
Basic rate of pay:
$25.41 per hr. Employer may increase wage based on experience, changes in market conditions, and/or provide additional pay for performance and tenure. Overtime may be available. An overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours in a work week. Generally, when overtime is available it will be paid at $38.12 per hour. Workers will be provided with on-the-job training to perform the duties assigned. Employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Workers will be paid bi-weekly. Employer will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law. If applicable, employer will deduct from payroll any mutually agreed to charges. Optional employee shared housing, including basic utilities, is available at approximately $100 per person per week. The cost of housing will be deducted from the worker's paycheck if the worker elects. Pay advance possible with management approval, paid back through payroll deductions if the worker elects. The employer will provide daily transportation from housing to and from the main worksite, and among all worksite locations. If worker completes half the employment period, employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the employment period or where the worker is dismissed early, the employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.78 per day during travel to a maximum of $68 per day with receipts. If necessary, employer will reimburse worker within first pay period for approved cost of meals and lodging at the applicable exchange rate, not to exceed reasonable costs. Receipts must be submitted. Employer will reimburse H-2B workers in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees). Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.
