Overview Join our dynamic landscaping team as a Landscape Crew Member and be a vital part of transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional environments! In this energetic role, you will work outdoors in various weather conditions, applying your passion for horticulture and grounds maintenance to deliver exceptional landscape solutions. Whether you're trimming trees, installing hardscape features, or maintaining lawns, your efforts will directly enhance the beauty and health of our clients' properties. This paid position offers hands-on experience with a variety of landscaping tasks and tools, fostering growth and skill development in a vibrant team environment. Duties Operate ground maintenance equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and power tools to ensure pristine lawns and landscapes. Assist with landscape installation projects including planting, shrubbery, flower beds, and hardscape features like patios or walkways. Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning trees and shrubs, fertilizing, and weed control to keep outdoor spaces healthy and attractive. Manage irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and adjusting controllers to optimize watering schedules. Identify various plants, trees, and pests to support effective landscape care and pest management strategies. Qualifications Prior outdoor work experience or familiarity with grounds maintenance is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for outdoor environments is essential. Basic mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and power tools is highly desirable. Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices including lawn care, tree trimming, gardening, and hardscape installation. Ability to identify common plants, pests, and irrigation components accurately. Strong adherence to safety protocols when operating equipment. Physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy objects is necessary. Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new techniques and responsibilities.
