Job Summary We are seeking dedicated and skilled Landscapers! The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and possess a strong mechanical knowledge to maintain and enhance various landscapes effectively. This role involves performing a variety of tasks related to lawn care, landscape maintenance, and horticulture, ensuring that properties are aesthetically pleasing and well-kept.

Pay:

$18/hr This is a temp-to-hire position! Pay will be increased and discussed based on performance after the start date.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm

Responsibilities :

Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, fertilization, and weed control. Execute landscape maintenance duties such as tree trimming, pruning, and planting. Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators for various landscaping projects. Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution throughout landscaped areas. Assist in hardscape installation including patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Provide snow plowing services during winter months to maintain accessibility of properties. Conduct regular inspections of landscapes to identify issues or areas needing attention. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Requirements :

Proven experience in landscaping or horticulture is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools and power tools safely. Familiarity with lawn care practices, landscape maintenance techniques, and tree care methods. Experience with irrigation systems installation and maintenance is a plus. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy materials and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Knowledge of gardening practices and plant care is beneficial. Previous experience in construction or hardscape projects is advantageous.
