Banks Construction Company is seeking a dependable and hardworking Landscape Technician to join our landscaping team. This position maintains company properties throughout the Lowcountry. The ideal candidate has previous landscaping experience, takes pride in quality work, and works safely and efficiently as part of a team.
Requirements:
Responsibilities:
Mow grass and maintain lawn areas. Edge sidewalks, curbs, and landscaped areas. Use blowers to clear grass clippings, leaves, and debris. Pull weeds and apply approved weed-control products according to instructions and company safety practices. Trim shrubs, bushes, and tree branches. Collect and properly dispose of landscaping debris. Safely operate and care for basic landscaping tools and equipment. Travel between company properties. Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment. Perform other basic landscaping and property-maintenance duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
At least six months of landscaping experience. Valid driver's license. Ability to safely operate standard landscaping tools and equipment. Dependable attendance and ability to report to work by 6:00 a.m. Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively as part of a team. Physical and Work Requirements Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and other changing weather conditions. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and frequently bend, kneel, reach, and lift. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to work around dust, noise, grass, plants, and landscaping chemicals while following safety requirements.
