Job Description
About Us Almost Heaven Plantation is a premier hunting destination offering exceptional experiences for our guests. We take pride in our pristine property, wildlife habitat, and first-class facilities. We are looking for hardworking and dependable team members to join our Grounds Crew and help keep our lodge and surrounding property in top condition. This position also presents guiding opportunities to the right candidate. Responsibilities Maintain lodge grounds, hunting fields, and surrounding property Perform routine landscaping: mowing, trimming, leaf blowing, planting, and watering Assist with upkeep of trails, ponds, fences, blinds, and outdoor structures Operate and maintain outdoor equipment (tractors, mowers, ATVs, chainsaws, etc.) Support seasonal needs such as preparing hunting fields, clearing brush, and managing habitat areas Perform light maintenance tasks and assist with lodge projects as needed Guide and Scout quail hunts Assist with a variety of other hunts and activities that take place at Almost Heaven Plantation Assist in other areas, as needed Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all guests and staff Qualifications Previous landscaping, groundskeeping, or outdoor maintenance experience preferred Ability to operate and maintain lawn and farm equipment, including but not limited to bushhogs, ride on lawn mowers, etc. Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and perform manual labor Strong work ethic, reliability, professionalism and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license required (CDL or equipment certifications a plus) Must be at least 21 years old Benefits Competitive pay based on experience On-site training and growth opportunities Unique work environment in a beautiful outdoor setting How to Apply Interested applicants should send their resume or work history to joshua@almostheavenplantation.com.
