Job Summary A private family property near Greenbrier, TN is looking for a reliable, full-time caretaker to keep the home and grounds running smoothly. The property includes three primary residences, outbuildings, barns, gardens, a young orchard, pastures, and farm animals (dairy cows, beef cattle, sheep, and poultry). This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in their work, notices what needs doing, and can be trusted to handle things independently. We are hoping to find a long-term person who will grow with our family and fit well into our full-lives. What you'll do Handle routine and seasonal maintenance of the home and outbuildings (filters, gutters, winterizing, minor repairs), and keep a maintenance calendar so nothing slips. Help with daily livestock care as needed: feeding, checking and refilling waters, and flagging anything that looks off. Take on a steady flow of handyman projects around the property: small carpentry, fence and gate repair, fixture swaps, and similar work. Operate and maintain mowers, tractors, and other equipment, including mowing, basic tractor work, and routine upkeep. Coordinate and oversee outside contractors and vendors when a job is beyond scope. Communicate clearly and proactively with the family about what's done, what's coming up, and what needs a decision. What we're looking for Available full-time, with this as your primary job. Solid general handyman skills and experience running mowers and tractors. Comfortable around farm animals; livestock experience is a plus but not required. Good judgment, self-direction, and follow-through: someone who can be left alone with a to-do list and deliver. Discretion and respect for the family's privacy. Valid driver's license, and a clean background check. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Pay:

$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
