Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Landscapers and Mowers to join our dynamic grounds maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining beautiful, healthy outdoor spaces by performing lawn care, landscape upkeep, and groundskeeping tasks. Your expertise in operating landscaping equipment and understanding horticultural principles will help create inviting environments that enhance the aesthetic appeal and safety of outdoor areas. Duties Operate lawn mowers, power tools, excavators, and other groundskeeping equipment safely and efficiently to maintain lawns, gardens, and hardscape features. Perform landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, tree care, trimming, and gardening to promote healthy growth and visual appeal. Manage irrigation systems and perform irrigation system repairs or adjustments to ensure proper watering schedules. Conduct pesticide management activities following safety protocols to control pests while protecting plants and environment. Maintain grounds by performing snow plowing during winter months and ensuring pathways are clear and safe for visitors. Identify plants accurately to assist with landscaping decisions and ensure proper care; recognize common pests or diseases affecting plants. Follow safety procedures rigorously during all activities to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members. Experience Prior outdoor work experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or horticulture is highly preferred. Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques including mowing, planting, pruning, hardscape installation, and tree trimming. Familiarity with grounds maintenance equipment operation such as lawn mowers, power tools, irrigation systems, and excavators. Understanding of plant identification, pesticide management, irrigation systems, and general gardening practices. Ability to adhere to safety protocols while operating machinery or handling chemicals in outdoor environments. Experience with snow plowing or winter groundskeeping is a plus but not required. Strong mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment maintenance will be advantageous for troubleshooting issues promptly. Join us in creating vibrant outdoor spaces!
