In this outdoor, on site role, you'll safely operate power equipment such as forklifts, sweepers, mowers, or yard tractors to maintain parking lots and outdoor areas, move merchandise, and support store operations. You'll inspect and perform basic upkeep on equipment, follow all OSHA and Walmart safety standards, and work closely with store teams to keep our environment clean, organized, and customer ready. Seasonal associates gain hands on experience, structured training, and exposure to long term career paths across Walmart's global retail network. Responsibilities Operate outdoor power equipment such as forklifts, sweepers, mowers, or yard tractors to support store and lot operations. Perform pre use inspections and basic maintenance checks on assigned equipment. Follow all Walmart and OSHA safety procedures, including proper PPE use and traffic control in active parking lots. Maintain clean, organized, and safe outdoor areas, including lots, cart corrals, and loading zones. Move, stage, and organize merchandise, pallets, and materials in designated areas. Communicate with store leadership and associates to prioritize daily tasks and support peak season needs. Document equipment issues or hazards and report them promptly for repair or follow up. Provide courteous assistance to customers and vendors when working in active public areas.
