Overview Join our dynamic landscaping team as a Landscape Laborer and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor environments. Whether you're involved in planting, maintenance, or hardscape installation, your efforts will help enhance curb appeal and ensure healthy, thriving grounds. This paid position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about outdoor work and eager to develop their expertise in grounds maintenance and landscaping. Duties Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning to keep outdoor spaces pristine and inviting Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as power tools, lawn mowers, trimmers safely and efficiently Support planting activities by identifying plants, preparing soil, planting new greenery, and caring for existing plants Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of landscapes Conduct routine grounds inspections to identify issues such as pest infestations or plant diseases and assist with pesticide management as trained Support snow clearing and winter maintenance tasks during seasonal changes to keep properties accessible and safe Requirements Prior outdoor work experience or background in grounds maintenance or landscaping 2 years experience preferred Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and hand tools necessary for daily tasks Familiarity with plant identification, horticulture principles, and lawn care practices Ability to operate power tools, irrigation systems, and machinery responsibly Knowledge of safety protocol adherence to ensure a safe working environment at all times Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions year round Excellent attention to detail for landscape upkeep and equipment operation Willingness to learn about tree care, gardening techniques, pesticide management, and any and all other tasks as assigned
