Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our outdoor team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the appearance and safety of various outdoor spaces. Your proactive approach and hands-on skills will ensure that landscapes are healthy, attractive, and safe for all visitors and users. Duties Performs clean up duties and routine maintenance at shop and offices. Performs landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, planting and weeding to keep our door areas pristine and inviting. Monitors and reports all safety‐related issues to the supervisor. Maintain records of maintenance activities, equipment inspections and safety checks. Report all safety-related issues to the supervisor. Attendance required according to company attendance policy to ensure crew is able to operate at normal proficiency level. Follow all safety policies and PPE use. Qualifications Valid Driver's License Proven outdoor work experience with groundskeeping or landscaping roles preferred with knowledge of mowing, planting, pruning and fertilizing Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment operation and maintenance Attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining high standards of grounds quality Required Skills and Experience Valid Driver's License Proven outdoor work experience with groundskeeping or landscaping roles preferred with knowledge of mowing, planting, pruning and fertilizing Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment operation and maintenance Attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining high standards of grounds quality Competencies Ability to display professionalism, maintain quality focus, and pay attention to detail. Must have a strong commitment to jobsite safety Diligent in demonstrating safe work practices. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are normally Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; however, evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must have the ability to quickly respond appropriately to unexpected events.
