Job Description
Natures Way Resources is the leading organic compost and mulch facility with an on-site nursery, dedicated to sustainable practices and high-quality products. As a Groundskeeper/Landscaper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the health and appearance of our facility. This full-time position is essential to our composting process, ensuring proper moisture levels in our compost and mulch piles, supporting dust control, and keeping our grounds and display beds in top condition. Responsibilities Maintain moisture levels in compost and mulch piles using soaker hoses and water pumps Operate a farm tractor with a water trailer for dust control throughout the facility Perform general grounds maintenance, including mowing, weed eating, and upkeep of display beds Remove weeds from display beds and finished product piles (mulch, compost, and soil blends) Plant and mulch gardens as needed Prune trees to maintain raised canopies Assist with additional tasks such as stacking pallets, traffic control, and trash removal Keep work areas clean and organized Work is primarily outdoors and weather dependent Qualifications Ability to operate small engines, including lawn mowers, weed eaters, backpack blowers, and water pumps Experience with small farm tractors and bumper tow trailers Landscaping experience preferred Ability to lift up to 75 pounds Strong time management skills Ability to follow safety guidelines, including wearing boots as required by OSHA Bilingual preferred (Spanish) Compensation $15.00$17.00 per hour (Full-time, MondayFriday, 7:00 AM4:00 PM; Saturdays optional) Benefits 2 weeks paid time off after the first 6 months Paid holidays Employee discount Flexible schedule Offered compensation: $15/hr - $17/hr Experience and License Requirements Landscaping (optional)
