This energetic position involves performing lawn maintenance tasks to ensure properties look their best. Whether working on residential, commercial, or public grounds, you'll bring your enthusiasm and mechanical skills to deliver exceptional results. This paid position offers opportunities to develop your expertise in lawn maintenance while contributing to vibrant, healthy environments. Duties Mow lawns using push mowers, standing mowers, or other power tools to achieve a clean, even cut. Trim trees, shrubs, and hedges with hand tools or powered equipment to maintain aesthetic appeal and plant health. Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as edging and weeding to enhance outdoor spaces. Operate machinery including excavators and other construction equipment for hardscape installation or site preparation. Skills Mechanical knowledge for operating and maintaining lawn care equipment and power tools effectively. Proficiency in lawn care techniques including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and weed control. Experience with landscape maintenance, gardening, tree care, and pruning techniques such as tree trimming. Familiarity with landscaping projects like hardscape installations (patios, walkways) and irrigation systems. Ability to use hand tools safely and efficiently for various gardening and construction tasks. Physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy materials when needed.
