Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Lawn Care Worker and become a vital part of creating beautiful, healthy outdoor spaces! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining lawns, gardens, and landscapes through hands-on work with various tools and equipment. Your enthusiasm for outdoor work and horticulture will help ensure our clients' properties look their absolute best year-round. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in landscape maintenance while contributing to vibrant, well-kept environments. Duties Operate grounds maintenance and landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and power tools to keep lawns and gardens pristine Perform mowing, edging, trimming, and pruning to maintain healthy turf and plant life Assist with planting, watering, fertilizing, and identifying various plants and trees to promote lush growth Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed Apply pesticides or herbicides following safety protocols to control pests and weeds effectively Maintain hardscape features like pathways, patios, and retaining walls to enhance landscape aesthetics Follow safety procedures diligently during all outdoor activities to prevent accidents or injuries Experience Prior outdoor work experience or hands-on familiarity with grounds maintenance is preferred Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques, horticulture principles, and plant identification is highly desirable Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment operation and basic repairs is a plus Experience with irrigation systems management or pesticide application demonstrates a strong foundation in landscape care Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and groundskeeping machinery safely and efficiently Strong understanding of safety protocols related to outdoor work environments Passion for gardening, tree care, lawn care, snow plowing (seasonal), and hardscape projects will set you apart Join us in transforming outdoor spaces into vibrant retreats!
