As a Grounds Crew Member, you will be actively involved in landscaping, lawn care, and landscape maintenance projects that enhance the aesthetic appeal of our facilities. Responsibilities Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to keep turf healthy and vibrant Maintain landscape features through planting, pruning, tree trimming, and shrub care Operate hand tools such as trimmers, pruners, shovels, rakes, and blowers efficiently and safely Use power tools and machinery like excavators and snow plows for construction projects or seasonal cleanup Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of landscapes Assist with hardscape projects including the installation of pathways, patios, or retaining walls Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance Support snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for visitors Requirements Mechanical knowledge with experience handling hand tools and power tools Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance or gardening preferred Knowledge of landscaping techniques including planting, pruning, and hardscape installation Ability to operate machinery such as excavators or snow plows is a plus Strong understanding of horticulture principles and tree care practices Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy objects is essential Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward maintenance tasks and project support Join us as a Grounds Crew Member to help us craft beautiful outdoor spaces while gaining valuable hands-on experience in landscaping, construction, and horticulture.
