Loudoun Golf & Country Club - Purcellville, VA Position Summary Loudoun Golf & Country Club is seeking a motivated, dependable, and team-oriented Golf Course Maintenance Specialist to join our grounds team. This position plays a vital role in maintaining the beauty, playability, and overall condition of our golf course. We welcome candidates with prior golf course or landscape maintenance experience, but we are equally excited to train individuals who demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, and a genuine desire to learn and grow in the turf management field. This is a full-time, year-round position. We are seeking individuals who are available for long-term employment and can maintain a consistent full-time work schedule throughout the year. Candidates who are currently in high school and planning to attend college in the near future, or who are seeking temporary or seasonal employment, may not be the best fit for this position. Key Responsibilities Safely operate light and heavy maintenance equipment, including walk mowers and golf carts Clean, refuel, and properly store equipment after daily use Assist with irrigation system repairs and routine maintenance Support fertilizer and turf care applications Participate in daily course preparation (bunker raking, mowing, leaf blowing, course detailing, etc.) Trim and edge around irrigation heads, drains, yardage markers, valve boxes, and other course features Assist the Project Foreman and team members with ongoing maintenance and improvement projects Identify and report equipment malfunctions to supervisors or the Head Mechanic Attend daily morning team meetings Perform additional duties as assigned What We're Looking For Strong work ethic and positive attitude Dependable and punctual Willingness to learn and follow directions Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions Team-oriented mindset Golf course or landscaping experience preferred, but not required Minimum Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age Ability to work full-time, including early morning shifts Reliable transportation to and from Loudoun Golf & Country Club in Purcellville, VA Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions Physically able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift Ability to safely operate or learn to operate turf and landscape maintenance equipment Strong work ethic, punctuality, and dependability Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in golf course maintenance, landscaping, groundskeeping, or lawn care Experience operating mowers, trimmers, blowers, or other turf equipment Basic knowledge of irrigation systems or turf management practices Valid driver's license Apply If you take pride in your work, enjoy working outdoors, and want to build valuable skills as part of a dedicated team, we encourage you to apply.
