Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, pruning, trimming trees, planting, and mulching to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy Operate groundskeeping and landscaping equipment including power tools, irrigation systems, and hardscape machinery safely and efficiently Conduct landscape repairs and installations involving hardscape features like patios, walkways, and retaining walls Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed Identify plants accurately to support proper care and pest management strategies Follow safety protocols diligently during all operations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment Assist with pesticide management by applying treatments responsibly according to regulations and best practices Experience Prior outdoor work experience in groundskeeping or landscaping is highly preferred Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques including mowing, edging, pruning, and planting Familiarity with landscape equipment operation such as power tools, irrigation systems, and hardscape machinery Strong understanding of horticulture principles and plant identification skills Ability to adhere strictly to safety protocols while handling tools and chemicals Mechanical knowledge related to landscape equipment repair or troubleshooting is a plus Experience with tree trimming, gardening, grounds maintenance, and pesticide application enhances your suitability for this role This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced outdoor environment while contributing to the beauty of our communities.
