Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and dependable Snow Removal Technician to ensure safe and accessible outdoor environments during winter months. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently clearing snow and ice from designated areas, maintaining pathways, driveways, parking lots, and walkways to promote safety for employees, visitors, and residents. Your expertise in outdoor work, equipment operation, and safety protocols will help us uphold high standards of grounds maintenance during challenging winter conditions. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in outdoor maintenance while contributing to a safe community environment. Responsibilities Operate snow removal equipment such as plows, blowers, shovels, and salt spreaders to clear snow and ice from designated areas Assess weather conditions regularly to plan effective snow removal strategies Apply salt or de-icing materials safely to prevent ice formation and ensure slip-resistant surfaces Maintain and inspect equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance Follow established safety protocols during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents or injuries Communicate effectively with team members regarding work progress and any hazards encountered Assist with other groundskeeping tasks such as landscape maintenance or minor repairs as needed during off-peak seasons On call 24/7 for winter season Possible full time role after winter season for spring and summer Qualifications Clean driver license record Driver license 4 or more years of experience in plow truck or skidloader, loaders
