Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Laborer to join our team immediately and help with grass trimming, pruning, weeding, etc. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse landscaping projects, including lawn care, landscape maintenance and fall clean ups. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, possess mechanical knowledge, and be eager to develop skills to work independently. Prior experience with hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as trimmers, skid loaders, and zero-turns is a plus. This role is essential in ensuring our clients' landscapes are well-maintained and in a timely manner. This position may be extended to include shoveling and or snow plowing if person desires and is trained. Responsibilities Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, and fertilizing to maintain healthy turf. Assist with landscape maintenance activities such as planting, pruning, tree trimming and any other end of season tasks. Operate hand tools and power tools safely for various landscaping tasks. Support team members in project setup and cleanup to ensure efficient workflow. Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for all tools and machinery. Skills Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and tools. Proficiency in using hand tools, trimmers and power tools safely. Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong teamwork skills with a focus on safety and quality workmanship. Basic understanding of construction processes related to landscaping projects.
