Spray Applicator - Nursery & Greenhouse Belmont Nursery - Fresno, CA Belmont Nursery, a family-owned business since 1943, is proud to have a team of long-term, dedicated employees. Located in East Fresno across three 10-acre sites, we supply plants to contractors and garden centers throughout Northern and Central California—and operate a thriving retail nursery as well. We're currently seeking a Spray Applicator to join our Plant Health Team to help care for our ornamental crops, including trees, shrubs, and flowers. This role involves the small-scale application of herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides to ensure our plants remain healthy and vibrant.
What You'll Do:
Apply pesticides and herbicides on nursery crops in accordance with safety and industry guidelines Monitor crops for signs of pests, weeds, or disease Maintain accurate application records Assist with other nursery tasks as needed
What We're Looking For:
Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions (90% outdoor work) Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor Flexible with scheduling—early mornings, some evenings, and weekends required Basic math skills and attention to detail Reliable transportation and a valid California driver's license Willingness to learn about horticulture and plant care Spanish speaking is a plus Why Work With Us? Pay:
$16.90 - $18.00 per hour
