Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and edging to ensure pristine outdoor spaces. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for planting, edging, and general landscape care. Assist with installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other construction elements. Conduct lawn care activities like fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to promote healthy turf growth. Support tree care operations including trimming, pruning, and planting to maintain safety and aesthetic appeal. Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and making necessary adjustments or repairs. Use equipment such as excavators for site preparation or landscaping projects under supervision. Perform snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access and clear pathways for clients. Conduct routine landscape inspections to identify maintenance needs or potential hazards. Follow safety protocols diligently while handling tools, machinery, and chemicals to ensure a secure work environment. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various landscaping machinery and hand tools confidently. Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices. Knowledge of landscaping techniques including planting, pruning, tree trimming, and hardscape installation. Familiarity with irrigation systems setup, troubleshooting, and repairs. Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively in diverse outdoor conditions. Basic understanding of construction processes related to landscape projects such as retaining walls or pathways. Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy materials when needed. $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
