Seasonal Position | Immediate Opening | Work Through End of Landscape Season McClean Landscape & Nursery has been serving the Farmington Valley since 1999 . We are a small, professional landscape company focused on high-quality landscape maintenance, fine gardening, and landscape installation on residential properties. We are looking for temporary seasonal help to join our crew immediately and work through the end of the fall landscape season , typically late November/early December depending on weather. This position will primarily help with fall cleanups and general landscape work . If you like working outdoors, don't mind physical work, and want to make good money for the next couple of months, this could be a great fit. What You'll Be Doing Fall leaf cleanups Operating backpack blowers and other landscape equipment Raking, blowing, loading, and removing leaves Landscape bed and property cleanups Cutting back perennials Mulching Planting and landscape installation General landscape maintenance Loading/unloading trucks and equipment Assisting our crews wherever needed Schedule Monday-Friday Approximately 7AM-5PM 40-50 hours per week Overtime available as workload requires Position runs through approximately late November/early December depending on weather Pay $20-$27/hr depending on experience and ability Landscape experience is helpful, but we are willing to train someone who is dependable and ready to work. Requirements Positive attitude and strong work ethic Dependable and able to show up on time every day Must be 18+ with reliable transportation Ability to lift at least 50 lbs Comfortable performing physical work outdoors all day Comfortable working in varying fall weather conditions Ability to pass pre-employment drug test Clean driving record necessary Landscape experience preferred but not required About McClean Landscape We are a small company with professional crews, quality equipment, and high standards. You'll work alongside experienced landscape professionals on well-maintained residential properties throughout the Farmington Valley. This is a temporary seasonal position , but a strong employee may be considered for future opportunities with our company.
