Rocklyn Capitalization Group seeks a dependable, friendly, and hardworking team member to help maintain the beauty, cleanliness, and functionality of our property/resort. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and caring for the resort's grounds, gardens, and landscapes. The technician will be required to operate various lawn care equipment, including mowers, tractors, trimmers, blowers, pressure washers, etc. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working outdoors, have basic maintenance and lawn care skills and a strong work ethic.
Key Duties:
Lawn Maintenance:
Mow, edge, and blow turf areas. Regularly treat for weeds, weed whips, rake leaves, plant flowers/shrubs, spread mulch/woodchips/stones, trim shrubs and hedges, cut down and remove tree limbs damaged by adverse weather conditions, and perform other lawn care services as necessary
Property Maintenance:
Perform minor outdoor repairs on fences, gates, and lighting.
Equipment Care:
Operate, perform routine maintenance, and clean mowers, trimmers, and blowers safely. Ensuring a landscape maintains health and aesthetic appeal Pick up litter and debris throughout the property and keep common areas clean and attractive. Perform light repairs and maintenance tasks throughout the property. Assist with inventory and organization of tools, supplies, and maintenance materials. Report equipment malfunctions and maintenance needs promptly. Assist with special projects, events, and seasonal preparations as needed. Ensure the property/resort is presentable and inviting at all times and that it adheres to the resort's curb appeal standards Other duties and special projects as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Previous experience in lawn care, landscaping, or maintenance Demonstrated knowledge of and broad experience in general maintenance and lawn care techniques and repair work Proficient skills in operating various hand tools, power equipment, and commercial machinery Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and customer service skills
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Ability to work in various weather conditions as working conditions require constant outdoor work Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time Ability to operate lawn care equipment safely and effectively
