Maintain a professional image at all times and lead by example, keeping in mind the standards and expectations of both the Department and Club. Have a valid, State issued, Driver's License. Currently have a valid State of Florida issued Commercial Applicator License or be able to obtain one within 90-days of employment. Be able to lift 50+ lb. bags/containers repetitively and work outside year-round in all weather conditions. Be available to work weekends, holidays and be able to respond to any emergency call-in situations after "normally" scheduled hours. Understand that the nature of this profession regularly requires working shifts longer than 8-hours in order to complete necessary tasks. Pass a standard drug screening prior to employment. Job Description Working closely with the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent you will: Participate in fertilizer / pesticide applications and calibrate all application equipment regularly. Maintain records of fertilizer and pesticide applications as well as inventories of consumables. Assist in mowing, course set up, handwatering or any other duty requested of him/her based on the daily operational needs of the golf course.
