Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic school-based role near Palm City, FL, supporting PK-8th grade students in a vibrant educational setting. This contract position offers 35 hours per week and will involve collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in person across one or multiple campuses.
Key Qualifications:
Current and valid Florida Department of Health School Psychologist License Previous experience in a school setting highly preferred Skilled in conducting assessments, writing reports, and implementing interventions Strong communication and collaboration abilities Organized, adaptable, and comfortable working with PK-8th grade students Must be able to complete separate district fingerprinting (previous prints in the AHCA Clearinghouse may be transferable) and appear in-person for badging at HR Availability for immediate interviews is essential
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough psychological assessments for students ranging from pre-kindergarten to 8th grade Participate in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with educators, families, and other school-based professionals to support student success Offer counseling and behavioral intervention plans as appropriate Maintain detailed documentation and regular communication with stakeholders Enjoy the structure and excitement of working in a school environment, where your expertise as a School Psychologist helps shape positive educational journeys.
