In this role, you will be responsible for applying lawn and landscape chemicals safely and effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction while adhering to safety protocols. We perform both lawn spraying & mosquito control, so you may do both. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow within the company as we are currently adding approximately 2 routes per year and will soon need more management. Duties Safely operate company vehicles, spray rig, and mosquito blower to perform chemical applications. Apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers, following pesticide management guidelines and integrated pest management strategies. Conduct inspections of lawns, landscapes, and pest activity to determine appropriate treatment plans. Follow all PPE and safety requirements. Communicate clearly with customers about service procedures, treatment plans, and safety precautions to ensure excellent customer service experience. Maintain detailed records of chemical applications inside of our CRM. Requirements Proven outdoor work experience in lawn care, pest control, landscaping, or golf is highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, farm machinery, and hand tools is essential. Familiarity with pesticide application knowledge, pest control methods, entomology basics, and integrated pest management practices is preferred. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles; ability to drive safely in various outdoor environments. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about treatments and safety measures. Ability to handle chemicals responsibly while following pesticide management standards and safety guidelines. Physical ability to perform outdoor tasks, lifting equipment or supplies, and working in varying weather conditions. Ability to use technology to track jobs and communicate with customers.
