We're hiring Certified Lawn Care Technicians to perform lawn treatments and other certified services. This position requires current Iowa Core and 3T certification, or the ability to pass both exams before your start date. Professional lawn-care experience isn't required if you meet the certification requirement. Starting pay reflects certifications held, relevant experience, field knowledge, equipment proficiency, and driving record; additional categories (3O, 6, 7A, 7D) receive additional pay consideration. What You'll Do Perform lawn treatments, fertilizer applications, and other certified services Inspect properties and communicate professionally with customers Complete routes and service records using a company tablet Safely operate and care for company vehicles and equipment Assist with mowing, landscape maintenance, and snow removal as needed The Job, Honestly This is physical outdoor work in heat, cold, rain, mud, dust, and snow. Most active-season weeks run 30-45 hours (averaging about 40); hours are weather-dependent and can't be guaranteed. Shifts may occasionally run past 12 hours during peak growth, weather recovery, or snow events. Early mornings, evenings, weekends, and on-call snow removal — including occasional overnight, Sunday, and holiday work — are part of the job. This is an hourly, non-exempt position; overtime is paid as required by applicable law.
