Professional Applicator License
CO, OP, IP
from the Department of Agriculture Required About the Position Seeking dependable, hardworking applicators to join our lawn and tree care team applying treatments to our client's properties including fertilizer, herbicides, insecticides and more. Must have professional applicator's license from the Idaho Department of Agriculture having current
CO/OP/IP
required licenses. This is a full-time year-round position that is available immediately. Work during the winter months includes holiday lighting installations. Responsibilities Primary duties include representing Zing Services as an industry leader through professional and respectful service, hard work and dependability, care and attention to details, cooperation with crew members and office staff, and bringing a positive and helpful attitude to work each day. Applicators will be working outside, primarily with one assistant and will be applying chemicals to lawns, trees, and shrubs. They will help educate our clients on proper lawn and tree care practices as well as diagnosing any lawn, tree, and shrub issues present. Secondary duties include assisting other service teams in finishing their routes to meet daily route goals, and assisting our operations manager with any shop or miscellaneous work. Qualifications Ideal candidates will be knowledgeable and familiar with industry standards and practices. Must have good communication and listening skills as well as exceptional time management. Must be able to respond to clients and co-workers in a calm, collected, and respectful manner. Position requires good common sense with chemicals, equipment, and other variables to ensure a safe working environment. Must be dependable and on time each day to help work as a contributing team player. Will be working outside and will be lifting 50 lbs. on a regular basis. Must have a valid ID driver's license.
