Build a Lending Enterprise—Not Just a Loan Pipeline We are seeking an experienced, high-performing Mortgage Loan Officer ready to move beyond the traditional loan officer role and conventional compensation model. This unique partnership opportunity is designed for an MLO who wants to drive substantial production, build and lead a successful branch, and become the trusted lending advisor for a premier real estate sales team with a reliable stream of buyer and seller business. This position is ideal for a relationship-focused MLO who views the future of lending as integrated, referral-driven, and built on lasting partnerships—not one transaction at a time. You will collaborate closely with an established, PLACE-powered real estate team that consistently generates inbound buyer and seller leads. The team prioritizes responsiveness, transparency, and an exceptional client experience while seeking a long-term mortgage partner—not a revolving list of lenders. You won't be one lender among many. You'll be the lender. Responsibilities Originate and close residential mortgage loans with excellence and speed Serve as the primary mortgage partner for our real estate sales team's leads Collaborate closely with agents to convert, pre-approve, and close buyers Build, grow, and eventually lead a branch or production pod Maintain strong referral relationships with agents, builders, and partners Deliver a best-in-class borrower experience from pre-approval to closing Qualifications Prior experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer (required) Verifiable closed loan volume (recent production history required) Active or eligible NMLS license Strong understanding of purchase transactions (not just refi) Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to build something meaningful High integrity, strong communication skills, and team-first mentality This is not a training role.
