Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lawn Care Worker to join our outdoor maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the beauty and health of residential and commercial landscapes. Your work will involve operating various groundskeeping equipment, performing landscape maintenance tasks, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, apply your horticultural knowledge, and contribute to creating vibrant, well-maintained outdoor spaces. Responsibilities Mow lawns using power mowers, trimmers, and other landscaping equipment to ensure neat and healthy turf. Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as edging, pruning, planting, and mulching to promote plant health and aesthetic appeal. Identify various plants, shrubs, trees, and pests to support proper horticulture practices and pest management strategies. Conduct tree trimming, shrub shaping, and other pruning activities to maintain safety and visual appeal. Follow all safety protocols diligently while handling power tools, hand tools, pesticides, and heavy equipment to prevent accidents or injuries. Skills Proficiency with hand tools such as pruners, shovels, rakes, and power tools including trimmers and blowers. Ability to identify plants accurately and understand basic horticulture principles. Knowledge of pesticide management for pest control while adhering to safety standards.
