Lawn Maintenance Technician Sunny Side Lawn Maintenance is seeking a dependable, hard-working Lawn Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. This is an outdoor, hands-on position for someone who takes pride in quality work, shows up on time, and can work efficiently as part of a crew. You will help maintain residential and commercial properties throughout the mowing season and assist with snow removal during the winter. Starting pay:
$16 per hour , with opportunities for advancement and increased pay based on performance, reliability, and experience. Responsibilities Mow residential and commercial lawns using commercial-grade equipment. Perform detailed string trimming around homes, landscaping beds, fences, trees, sidewalks, and other obstacles. Edge sidewalks, curbs, and landscape beds as needed. Blow grass clippings and debris from sidewalks, driveways, patios, and other hard surfaces. Assist with mulch installation, spring and fall cleanups, leaf removal, shrub trimming, and other seasonal property maintenance work. Follow safety procedures on equipment, hand tools, power tools, and other job-related equipment. Assist with winter snow removal duties, which may include shoveling, snow blowing, salting, and operating snow-removal equipment. Be available for snow events, which may require early-morning, late-night, weekend, or extended shifts depending on weather conditions. Requirements Previous string-trimming experience is required. Applicants must be able to trim efficiently and neatly without damaging turf, trees, landscaping, fences, or property. Prior lawn care, landscaping, grounds maintenance, or outdoor labor experience is preferred. Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, wind, and other changing weather conditions. Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull up to [50] pounds. Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform manual labor throughout the workday. Reliable transportation to report to work consistently and on time. Valid driver's license preferred. Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn. Ability to work independently when needed while also contributing to a team environment. Must be dependable and able to follow safety procedures around equipment, traffic, and customer properties.
