Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify wildlife entry points and damage. Install, repair, and maintain wildlife exclusion devices using hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery as needed. Apply pest control chemicals safely following pesticide management guidelines and integrated pest management practices. Follow strict safety protocols including confined space entry safety procedures and respiratory protection measures during chemical handling. Operate company vehicles responsibly for transportation to job sites while adhering to driving safety standards. Communicate clearly with clients to explain repair processes, exclusion strategies, and ongoing maintenance recommendations. Maintain detailed records of work performed, chemical agents used, and safety procedures followed for each job site. Qualifications Prior outdoor work experience with familiarity in lawn care, landscaping, or agriculture is highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge combined with experience using hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery. Knowledge of pest control techniques including pesticide application, chemical handling, and pest management strategies. Understanding of ladder safety procedures and ladder use for accessing elevated areas safely. Ability to follow safety protocols rigorously including confined space entry safety procedures and respiratory protection requirements. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about technical repairs and pest prevention strategies. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles responsibly.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with pesticide management and integrated pest management (IPM). Knowledge of entomology related to wildlife pests. Familiarity with lawn care, landscaping or farm machinery operation.
