Full Job Description Position Summary:
Setup and operate spraying guns and area to apply shading to products.
Responsibilities:
Review paperwork to ensure product matches description and meets standards. Inspect product for defects before and after spray, marking parts that need repair and sending to appropriate area. Blow and wipe down product before spray. Spray shade as necessary to match parts to one another and samples; contact team leader if product can not be matched with shade. Complete paperwork for finished parts. Daily housekeeping to ensure area and equipment is clean. Daily preventative maintenance checks.
Supervisory Responsibilities :
There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.
Qualifications:
If working in the Finish Department or Final Inspection and you make decisions on color then you must score a 50 or better on a Nucraft administered Color Test. If working in the Finish Lab you must score a 16 or better on a Nucraft administered color test. Teamwork Orientation Time management
Performance Management Results Driven Education/Experience:
High school diploma or GED 2 years experience in finishing spray preferred; must pass practical spray test.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Hearing protection and mask or respirators are provided for where required.
Computer Skills:
Some computer skills required.
Expected Hours:
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Thursday 5:00am to 2:00pm, Friday 5:00 am to 9:00 am Overtime is expected when posted in advance.
