Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Lawn Care Worker and play a vital role in maintaining beautiful, healthy outdoor spaces. In this energetic position, you'll be responsible for executing a variety of landscaping and lawn maintenance tasks that enhance the aesthetic appeal and functionality of residential, commercial, and public properties. Your expertise will help create inviting environments through precise lawn care, landscape maintenance, and seasonal outdoor services. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in horticulture, equipment operation, and outdoor project execution while contributing to community beautification. Responsibilities Mow lawns using power tools such as riding mowers, push mowers, and trimmers to ensure well-manicured landscapes. Perform landscape maintenance including edging, trimming shrubs, pruning trees, and planting flowers or new greenery. Operate hand tools and power equipment like hedge trimmers, blowers, and aerators safely and efficiently. Conduct snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access for properties and pathways. Support tree care activities including trimming, pruning, or removal with proper techniques and safety procedures. Qualifications Basic mechanical knowledge related to lawn care equipment and hand tools. Experience in landscape maintenance or gardening preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates. Familiarity with landscaping techniques including mowing, planting, pruning, and hardscape upkeep. Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively; experience with excavators or similar machinery is a plus. Knowledge of horticulture principles and tree care practices enhances your ability to deliver quality work. Strong work ethic with the physical stamina to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions for 4+ hrs.
