Monday-Friday | Full-time | Year-round | No mowing | Paid training If you already have professional experience in turf care, lawn care, fertilization and weed control, pest control, mosquito control, or route-based field service and want more independence, greater earning potential, and room to grow, this may be the opportunity you're looking for. Carolina Turf and Mosquito is a locally owned and growing company serving the Charlotte area. We are hiring an experienced technician to manage a recurring residential turf and mosquito service route. This is not an entry-level landscaping position. At least one year of relevant professional field experience is required. What You'll Do Manage a recurring residential turf and mosquito service route Apply fertilizers, herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, and mosquito-control products according to label requirements and company procedures Identify common turf, weed, insect, and disease issues Operate professional spray and application equipment Communicate professionally with customers about services and property conditions Accurately document completed services and observations Maintain your assigned vehicle, equipment, products, and inventory Assist with aeration and overseeding during the fall season Work independently while remaining accountable to the team Required Qualifications At least 1 year of professional turf care, lawn care, fertilization and weed control, or comparable professional chemical application experience Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Dependable work history and reliable attendance Ability to work independently without constant supervision Ability to perform physical outdoor work year-round in North Carolina weather Strong communication and customer-service skills Attention to detail Ability to follow pesticide labels, safety procedures, and application instructions precisely Preferred Experience Preferred experience includes: Lawn fertilization and weed-control experience Turf management experience Pest-control or mosquito-control experience North Carolina pesticide license or certification Experience operating professional spray equipment Experience managing a recurring customer route Golf course or sports turf experience Experience identifying weeds, insects, turf diseases, and lawn-health issues Who Does Well Here?
