Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Application of Treatments:
Applying fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, and other lawn care products according to established guidelines and safety procedures.
Soil Analysis:
Evaluating soil conditions and recommending appropriate fertilization programs.
Equipment Operation:
Safely and effectively operating application equipment like spreaders and sprayers.
Lawn Assessment:
Monitoring lawn health, identifying issues like pests, diseases, or nutrient deficiencies, and recommending solutions.
Customer Interaction:
Communicating with clients about services, schedules, and recommendations.
Record Keeping:
Maintaining accurate records of treatments, applications, and customer interactions.
Following Safety Procedures:
Adhering to all safety regulations related to the handling and application of chemicals.
Maintaining Equipment:
Ensuring equipment is properly maintained and stored.
Collaboration:
Working effectively with other team members to ensure efficient service delivery.
Upselling and Cross-selling:
Identifying opportunities to offer additional services to clients.
Requirements Knowledge of Lawn Care Practices:
Understanding of fertilization, weed control, pest and disease management for lawns.
Equipment Operation:
Ability to safely and effectively operate lawn care equipment.
Communication Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Record Keeping:
Ability to maintain accurate and organized records.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Problem-Solving Skills:
Ability to identify and troubleshoot lawn care issues.
Valid Driver's License:
Necessary for transportation to and from job sites.
Pesticide Applicator License/Certification:
May be required depending on local regulations.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$24.00 - $30.00 per hour
