Job Description
The Club at ArrowCreek , located in Reno, NV, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Greenskeeper ! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. Performs general landscape maintenance using handheld equipment. Rakes sand traps with power rake, aerifies greens and tees. Operates small machinery to assist with edging, trimming and mowing. Prepares soil beds for sod, seed and vegetative material. Operates walking equipment in mowing greens collars and tees. Assists with fertilizer applications on tees, fairways and rough areas. Operates riding equipment in mowing fairways, approaches and rough. Operates sod cutter, trencher and tamper for routine projects. Operates dump truck and tractors for hauling purposes. Involved with tasks related to course detail (weed and debris clean up). Assists with golf course set-up procedures. Operates utility vehicles for hauling material and removing debris. Performs skilled duties related to experience (pruning, plugging, etc.). Operates equipment safely and is aware of associates and their prospective work areas. Incorporates safe work practices in job performance. Regular and reliable attendance. Performs other duties as required. Regularly stands, walks, sits, and uses hands, reaches with hands and arms. Occasionally climbs or balances; stoops, kneels, crawls or crouches. Regularly talks or hears and lifts up to 50 pounds. Occasionally lifts up to 100 pounds.
