Job Description
About Us Weed Patrol is a fast-growing, locally owned lawn care company based in Nanuet, NY. We specialize in lawn care applications, including fertilization, weed control, lawn health treatments, and seasonal pest control. This is not a mowing or landscaping position. Our focus is professional lawn care applications and helping customers improve the health and appearance of their lawns. We are looking for a reliable, responsible person who wants steady full-time work, proper training, and a long-term opportunity with room to grow. Lawn care experience is helpful, but not required. We train the right person. What You'll Do Perform lawn care applications (fertilization, weed control, crabgrass prevention, grub control, and other turf treatments). Perform seasonal pest control applications (mosquito, flea, tick, and perimeter pest treatments). Follow daily route instructions and company procedures. Operate and maintain company equipment safely. Identify common lawn issues such as weeds, insects, fungus, drought stress, and thin turf. Communicate clearly with the office when questions or property issues come up. Log completed work using our simple field system. What We're Looking For Reliable, responsible, and willing to learn. Comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions. Able to work independently and manage a daily route. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Interested in a long-term position with room to grow. Comfortable working occasional Saturdays during peak season. Nice to Have, But Not Required Lawn care, fertilization, pest control, or outdoor service experience. Experience driving a work truck or service vehicle. Pesticide applicator license or willingness to learn. What Makes This Job Different This is a skilled lawn application role — not mowing or landscaping.
