Duties Conduct pest inspections and identify pest activity using specialized tools and techniques. Apply pesticides and chemical agents safely and accurately, following all regulatory guidelines and safety protocols. Operate company vehicles, farm machinery, ladders, hand tools, and other equipment to access treatment areas efficiently. Implement integrated pest management strategies tailored to each client's needs, emphasizing environmentally responsible practices. Perform confined space entry procedures when necessary, ensuring safety at all times during complex treatments. Communicate clearly with clients about pest issues, treatment plans, and safety precautions to enhance customer satisfaction. Maintain detailed records of pesticide applications, chemical handling, equipment maintenance, and treatment outcomes. Skills Strong knowledge of pesticide management, application techniques, and chemical agent handling. Proficiency in pest control methods, including entomology principles and integrated pest management strategies. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly and professionally. Mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery, lawn care equipment, hand tools, and company vehicle operation. Familiarity with ladder safety procedures, respiratory protection protocols, confined space entry safety procedures, and outdoor work environments. Ability to handle chemicals safely while adhering to safety protocol guidelines for pesticide application and chemical handling. Experience in farming, landscaping, agriculture, or related outdoor work that enhances understanding of land management practices.
