Job Description
Responsibilities:
Perform Chemical and Organic Applications :
Safely and effectively apply fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and organic treatments to lawns, trees, shrubs, and tick control areas in accordance with state regulations and company standards.Property Assessments :
Conduct regular inspections of assigned properties to identify turf diseases, pest activity, weed infestations, and overall plant health; document findings and propose solutions.Client Communication :
Communicate with clients as needed to explain services performed, provide recommendations, answer questions, and ensure customer satisfaction with treatments and results.Maintain Equipment and Materials :
Properly calibrate, operate, and maintain spray equipment, spreaders, and company vehicles; ensure safe handling and storage of chemicals.Compliance and Safety :
Follow all federal, state, and local pesticide regulations; adhere to OSHA and company safety protocols to protect yourself, the team, and the environment.Recordkeeping and Reporting :
Accurately complete service records, application logs, and required regulatory documentation in a timely manner.Promote Excellence :
Take pride in the appearance and health of client properties, delivering high-quality results that reflect company standards of excellence.Team Collaboration :
Work closely with other team members to coordinate services, share knowledge, and support overall project success.Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum (2) years of experience with turf applications Full 3A applicator license NYS Drivers License Knowledge of standard lawn care practice and identification of turf disease, insect, weed type, etc. The ability to prioritize and work efficiently in a high-energy environment Excellent communication skills- both oral and written Must be confident, motivated, enthusiastic, respectful, a team player, and have a positive attitude
