Sunrise Smarthome LLC | Bridgehampton / NYC Full-time, salaried | $80,000+ annually, depending on experience About Us Sunrise Smarthome is a design-focused smart home integration company based in Water Mill, NY, serving clients in the Hamptons and New York City. We specialize in the design, procurement, installation, programming, and ongoing service of Lutron HomeWorks systems for luxury residences. Beyond lighting and shade control, Sunrise offers whole-home control systems, audio/visual systems, WiFi network design, and surveillance systems, all integrated into a single, cohesive smart home experience. The Role We are hiring a Lead Field Technician to own execution in the field. You will manage installations, and serve as the technical point of contact on site for builders, electricians, architects, and clients. This position requires working on job sites in the Hamptons and NYC. What You Will Do

• Lead installations from rough-in through commissioning and client handoff
• Program and configure Lutron HomeWorks lighting and shading systems
• Perform diagnostics across audio, video, networking, and control systems
• Direct and mentor installation technicians, holding work to company and industry standards
• Coordinate directly with builders, electricians, architects, and other trades on site
• Maintain accurate project documentation, as builts, and rack labeling
• Provide service and troubleshooting on existing client systems
• Identify training needs for yourself and the team, and participate in manufacturer certification programs What We Are Looking For
• Experience in residential low voltage, electrical, or related installation work
• Comfortable using hand and power tools, including drilling, cutting, mounting, and modifying materials for AV equipment installation. Installation and programming experience with Lutron HomeWorks or comparable high end lighting control
• Strong grasp of IP networking: VLANs, subnetting, switch configuration, wireless deployment
• Understanding of analog and digital signal flow
• Ability to read and work from architectural and low voltage drawing sets
• Clear verbal and written communication skills. This role is client facing with owners, architects, builders and trades.
• Organized approach to documentation.
• Valid NYS driver's license and clean driving record
• Comfortable working across both Hamptons and NYC job sites Nice to have: Lutron certification and any control system programming experience / training certifications (URC, Savant, Control4) Bluebeam Revu, prior lead or foreman experience. Compensation and Benefits
