Lawn Maintenance Technician II Px3 Landscaping LLC Glenshaw, PA Job Details Part-time $14 - $18 an hour 19 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Referral program Qualifications Outdoor work experience Driver's License Power tools Irrigation Hand tools Full Job Description Position Summary The Lawn Maintenance Tech II position performs routine lawn care and landscape maintenance services under the supervision of a Crew Leader, Supervisor, or Manager. This role is responsible for assisting with mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, cleanup, and other grounds maintenance tasks while helping deliver high-quality service to residential and commercial clients. This position is above an entry-level Lawn Maintenance Tech I role and is intended for an employee who has basic lawn care experience, understands job-site expectations, and can safely operate standard lawn maintenance equipment with supervision. Employees are expected to work safely, efficiently, and professionally while representing Px3 Landscaping LLC on client properties. Key Responsibilities Perform routine lawn maintenance services on residential and commercial properties, including mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, cleanup, and basic landscape maintenance tasks. Safely operate standard lawn maintenance equipment, including push mowers, string trimmers, edgers, backpack blowers, and basic hand tools. Assist with seasonal services such as mulching, aeration, overseeding, leaf removal, irrigation support, snow operations, and other landscape-related work as needed. Load, unload, and transport equipment, tools, materials, and debris between trucks, trailers, and job sites. Assist with routine equipment cleaning, inspections, and basic maintenance while reporting any damage, repairs, or safety concerns to leadership. Follow assigned routes, schedules, job instructions, and direction from Crew Leaders, Supervisors, or Managers. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area, including trucks, trailers, equipment, and client properties. Communicate with Crew Leaders or Supervisors regarding job progress, hazards, client concerns, property damage, equipment issues, or delays. Follow all company safety policies and procedures while using required PPE and working safely around equipment, vehicles, coworkers, and client property. Work as part of a crew to complete assigned jobs efficiently, safely, and to company quality standards. Represent the company professionally while working on client properties and interacting with customers, coworkers, and supervisors. Work Environment & Conditions This position involves working outdoors for extended periods in a variety of weather conditions. Employees may be required to work in: Extreme heat and humidity Cold temperatures and freezing conditions Rain, snow, sleet, and ice High winds or storm-related cleanup conditions Direct sunlight and prolonged UV exposure Work environments may include: Uneven terrain Hillsides and slopes Roadside areas Commercial properties Residential neighborhoods Construction sites Landscape beds and turf areas Employees may also be exposed to: Dust Pollen Grass clippings Insects Noise from power equipment Fuel and oil Mulch, soil, and other outdoor materials Other environmental elements common to outdoor work Physical Demands This role is physically demanding and requires employees to regularly: Stand, walk, and work on their feet for 8-10+ hours per day. Lift, carry, push, or pull 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the workday. Load and unload equipment, mulch, soil, debris, and tools. Bend, kneel, squat, climb, and twist frequently. Operate vibrating power equipment for extended periods. Work on hillsides, uneven ground, and landscaped terrain.
Perform repetitive motions such as:
Trimming Edging Mowing Blowing debris Safely enter and exit work trucks and trailers multiple times per day. Employees must maintain sufficient strength, stamina, and coordination to perform physical labor safely and efficiently throughout the workday.
Requirements Minimum age:
18 years old. (Age 17 encouraged to Apply) Valid driver's license preferred. Clean driving record required if operating company vehicles. Prior lawn maintenance, landscaping, or outdoor labor experience preferred. Basic understanding of lawn care and landscape maintenance practices preferred. Ability to safely operate standard lawn maintenance equipment or willingness to be trained. Ability to follow directions and work independently with supervision. Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. Ability to work safely in physically demanding outdoor conditions. Must be willing to attend CPR / First Aid / AED training. Must pass a pre-employment background check. Must pass a pre-employment drug test. Preferred Qualifications Experience using commercial lawn maintenance equipment. Ability to identify basic lawn care quality issues. Experience working on a lawn maintenance crew. Ability to assist newer or entry-level employees with basic tasks. Interest in advancing to Lawn Maintenance Tech III or Landscape Tech I.
Pay:
$14.00 - $18.00 per hour
