Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and hands-on Lawn / Facilities & Yard Maintenance Technician to help maintain our company facilities, equipment yard, and additional properties. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working outdoors, operating trailers and equipment, performing general property maintenance, and keeping work areas clean, organized, and presentable. This position will primarily support the company yard and facilities, as well as assist with maintenance and cleanup at the owner's property and ranch locations in Barksdale and Gonzales, Texas (On-Site company vehicle will be used). The ideal candidate should be someone who is reliable, takes pride in their work, can work independently, and is willing to assist with a variety of hands-on tasks as needed. Duties & Responsibilities Yard & Facility Maintenance Maintain and keep the company yard clean, organized, and free of debris. Perform general cleanup and maintenance around the facility and outdoor work areas. Pick up, organize, and properly store tools, materials, equipment, and supplies. Assist with loading and unloading trailers, deliveries, and materials as needed. Safely back up and maneuver trailers when necessary. Assist with moving equipment, materials, and other items around the yard and facility. Perform routine inspections of the yard and facilities and report maintenance issues. Assist with basic facility repairs and general maintenance tasks. Lawn & Property Maintenance Mow, trim, edge, fertilize, and maintain lawns and landscaped areas. Perform weed control, pruning, tree trimming, and general landscaping duties. Maintain and inspect irrigation systems and assist with watering lawns and landscaping. Maintain outdoor areas at the owner's property and ranch locations. Travel to and perform general cleanup and maintenance at ranch properties in Barksdale and Gonzales, TX (On-Site company vehicle will be used). Remove trash, debris, brush, branches, and other unwanted materials. Keep properties clean, neat, safe, and well maintained. Equipment & Tool Maintenance Operate and properly maintain lawn equipment, power tools, hand tools, trailers, and other equipment. Perform routine inspections and basic mechanical repairs or adjustments when needed. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Report damaged, unsafe, or malfunctioning equipment to management. General Facility Maintenance Perform routine janitorial duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, removing trash, and general cleaning. Assist with general building and facility maintenance. Support the overall functionality, cleanliness, safety, and appearance of company and property locations. Perform other maintenance and hands-on tasks as assigned. Requirements & Qualifications Previous experience in lawn care, landscaping, facilities maintenance, construction, or general property maintenance is preferred. Ability to safely operate power tools, hand tools, lawn equipment, trailers, and other equipment. Ability to safely back up and maneuver a trailer is strongly preferred. Comfortable performing general yard, property, and facility maintenance. Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to perform minor repairs is a plus. Ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision. Ability and willingness to travel between company and ranch locations as needed. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Physically capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and moving heavy materials and equipment. Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean and organized properties. Dependable, responsible, and punctual. Valid driver's license required or preferred depending on company requirements. Must have reliable transportation to and from the primary work location. Work Environment This is a hands-on position that requires working both indoors and outdoors. The position will involve regular physical activity, including walking, standing, bending, lifting, carrying, operating equipment, and performing general maintenance and cleanup. The employee may be required to travel to multiple locations, including the company facility/yard and ranch properties in Barksdale and Gonzales, Texas (On-Site company vehicle will be used). Schedule 8-hour shift Monday-Friday, with occasional additional hours as needed Location Primary location: San Antonio, TX 78263 Travel to additional company and ranch properties in Barksdale and Gonzales, TX will be required as needed (On-Site company vehicle will be used).
