This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors in diverse environments, applying your horticultural expertise and safety knowledge to ensure healthy, beautiful, and safe outdoor spaces. Your hands-on approach and technical skills will contribute directly to the aesthetic appeal and safety of our clients' properties. Responsibilities Assist with planting, pruning, trimming, and removing trees using arborist rigging techniques and proper tree care practices Operate bucket trucks and other aerial lift equipment safely for tree trimming and landscape tasks Apply pesticides and herbicides in accordance with safety protocols and environmental regulations as a qualified applicator Use GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools to map and document landscape features and maintenance areas Perform rigging operations for tree removal or branch management, ensuring safety and precision Conduct lawn care activities including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and general landscaping tasks Support plant health assessments, pruning care, and growing experience to promote healthy growth Requirements Valid Pesticide Applicator Certification with experience in pesticide application procedures Proven outdoor work experience in landscaping, horticulture, or arboriculture environments Knowledge of arborist rigging techniques, tree removal procedures, and tree trimming best practices Ability to operate bucket trucks, chainsaws, and other landscaping equipment safely and effectively Familiarity with GIS technology for mapping and landscape documentation Strong understanding of safety protocols related to outdoor work, equipment operation, and chemical handling Excellent physical stamina for lifting, bending, climbing, and working at heights in various weather conditions Growing experience or background in horticulture or dendrology (the study of trees) is a plus Embark on a fulfilling career where your skills make a tangible difference!
