Job Description

Overview:
Join our Fertilizer Segment team as a Fertilizer Technician, where you'll play a key role in the production and packaging of high-quality fertilizer products. This position is ideal for a mechanically inclined individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and performing a variety of production, equipment, and material-handling tasks.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • General production duties: Grinding Offal Screening Fertilizer Blending Fertilizer Offal Collection
  • Keep assigned work processes running.
  • General housekeeping of the plant.
  • Loading/Unloading trucks.
  • Package final product.
  • Bottling of fertilizer.
  • Document production records.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as well as other software programs.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Drivers' License.
  • Ability to drive a large truck (non CDL) preferred, not required.
  • Mechanically inclined.
  • Previous forklift experience preferred, not required.
  • Willingness to work with inherent fish odor/handle fish scraps as needed.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, bend, climb stairs for 8-10 hours per day.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly each day
Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
