Job Overview Join our maintenance team as a Lawn Technician and Snow Operator! This energetic role offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your outdoor work experience, mechanical knowledge, and landscaping skills to keep outdoor spaces pristine and safe year-round. As a vital part of our crew, you'll be responsible for maintaining lawns, landscapes, and hardscapes during the growing season, and ensuring safe, efficient snow removal during winter months. Your expertise will help create beautiful, functional outdoor environments while adhering to safety protocols and operational standards. Duties Operate grounds maintenance equipment including mowers, power tools, and irrigation systems to maintain lawns, gardens, and landscapes Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, tree care, and gardening to enhance outdoor aesthetics Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for landscaping projects and hardscape installations Conduct snow plowing operations using snow blowers, plows, and other snow removal equipment to ensure safe pathways during winter storms Identify plants, trees, pests, and weeds to support horticulture efforts and pest management strategies Follow safety protocols rigorously during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents and ensure team safety Requirements Proven outdoor work experience with a strong understanding of grounds maintenance practices Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment operation and basic repairs Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques including mowing, planting, pruning, and hedge trimming Ability to operate lawn care machinery such as mowers and snow plowing equipment safely Experience with construction or hardscape projects is a plus Strong adherence to safety protocols with a focus on accident prevention in outdoor environments Excellent teamwork skills combined with the motivation to deliver high-quality outdoor spaces in all seasons Needs a driver license and no criminal record This role offers an engaging environment where your skills directly contribute to beautiful landscapes and safe winter pathways.
