Job Summary We are seeking dedicated and experienced Horticulture & Hardscapes Managers to oversee and lead our outdoor landscape projects, garden maintenance, and hardscape construction initiatives. These roles are vital in ensuring the delivery of high-quality groundskeeping, landscaping, and hardscaping services that enhance the aesthetic and functional value of our clients' outdoor spaces. The successful candidates will possess strong leadership skills, extensive outdoor work experience, and a comprehensive understanding of horticulture, irrigation systems, and hardscape construction. These positions offer an opportunity to manage dynamic teams while applying technical expertise to create beautiful, sustainable landscapes. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily operations of horticulture and hardscapes teams, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines Oversee landscape maintenance activities including lawn care, pruning, planting, and groundskeeping to maintain healthy and attractive outdoor environments Manage hardscaping construction projects such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures from planning through completion Direct crew management by assigning tasks, providing training on equipment operation, safety protocols, and best practices in horticulture and hardscape installation Ensure proper irrigation system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to promote healthy plant growth Operate company vehicles and grounds maintenance equipment safely and effectively during outdoor work activities Identify plants accurately for proper care; perform tree care tasks including pruning or removal when necessary Maintain detailed project documentation, safety records, and equipment inventory to support operational efficiency Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements while providing expert guidance on landscape design options Uphold high standards of quality control across all horticultural and hardscape projects Experience Proven supervisory experience in landscape maintenance, horticulture, or hardscaping construction projects Extensive outdoor work experience with knowledge of lawn care, gardening, plant identification, and groundskeeping practices Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong familiarity with irrigation management systems and troubleshooting techniques Construction experience related to hardscape features such as patios or retaining walls is highly desirable Skilled in operating grounds maintenance equipment including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping tools Knowledge of tree care practices and grounds maintenance standards Leadership qualities with excellent communication skills to coordinate team efforts and client interactions Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles safely in outdoor settings If you are passionate about creating exceptional outdoor spaces through expert horticulture practices and innovative hardscape solutions while leading motivated teams, we encourage you to apply for these rewarding roles. Pay:
