The State of Connecticut, Connecticut Technical Education and Career System (CTECS) is currently recruiting for one (1) part-time Buildings and Grounds Patrol Officer at Emmett O'Brien Technical High School in Ansonia, CT. Join CTECS as a Buildings and Grounds Patrol Officer and play a vital role in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors across our campus. In this position, you will help protect school property by monitoring buildings and grounds, enforcing parking and traffic regulations, conducting vehicle and foot patrols, and responding to security concerns. You'll also serve as a valuable resource by assisting visitors, providing security escorts, administering first aid when needed, and supporting daily operations through dispatching and recordkeeping. Part-time | 35 hours per week | 1st Shift Monday - Friday | 6:45 am - 2:15 pm This is a 10-month position, returning to work once school resumes following the summer break.
